01Who processes the data

The data controller (veri sorumlusu) is OneHomeGrup, a real estate agency in Mersin, Turkey (hereinafter “OneHome”, “we”). This policy has been prepared in accordance with Law No. 6698 of the Republic of Türkiye on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and explains which data of website visitors and clients we process, for what purposes, and how you can control it. 02What data we process

• Personal details — first and last name.
• Contacts — phone and WhatsApp, Telegram, e-mail.
• Request details — country and city, budget, purpose of purchase, properties of interest, travel or rental dates.
• Transaction data — passport details, tax number, information for opening a bank account and obtaining a residence permit — only if you have engaged us to support you.
• Car rental — passport and driving licence details, dates and place of car hand-over.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, cookies, visit logs.
• We do not request special categories of personal data (Art. 6 KVKK) — such as health, religious or biometric data.

03Purposes and legal grounds

We process data only for clear purposes and on the legal grounds set out in Art. 5 KVKK:

• Responding to your request, selecting properties, arranging viewings and investment tours — conclusion and performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c).
• Supporting the transaction, property registration, bank account opening and residence permit — performance of a contract and legal obligation (Art. 5/2-c, 5/2-ç).
• Arranging car rental — performance of a contract and legal obligation (Art. 5/2-c, 5/2-ç).
• Keeping records and storing documents — obligation under tax and commercial law (Art. 5/2-ç).
• Protecting the website, improving our service, resolving disputes — our legitimate interest and the establishment and protection of rights (Art. 5/2-f, 5/2-e).
• Sending property selections and news, enabling analytics and advertising cookies, transferring data abroad on a one-off basis — only with your explicit consent (Art. 5/1, Art. 9).

04How we collect data

Through forms on the website, WhatsApp, Telegram, phone and e-mail, at meetings in our office or at viewings, and automatically via cookies. Processing is carried out fully or partially by automated means.

05Who we share data with

Only to those we cannot do without, and only to the extent required for the purpose (Art. 8 KVKK):

• developers and sellers of properties — to reserve and complete the purchase;
• notaries, sworn translators, lawyers, banks and insurance companies involved in the transaction;
• public authorities — the Land Registry (Tapu), the Migration Service and tax authorities — where required by law or by your transaction;
• contractors who provide website operation, hosting and communications — under contract and subject to a confidentiality obligation.

06Transfers of data abroad

If you are buying property in Georgia or Thailand, data must be shared with developers and partners in those countries; some IT services (hosting, messengers) also operate outside Turkey. We transfer data abroad in accordance with Art. 9 KVKK: on the basis of an adequacy decision, under standard contracts approved by the Personal Data Protection Board (we notify the Board of each such contract within 5 business days), or in one-off cases — where this is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, or with your explicit consent after you have been informed of the possible risks.

07How long we keep data

• Requests without a transaction — 2 years from your last contact.
• Documents relating to transactions, car rentals and accounting — for the periods required by Turkish tax and commercial law, up to 10 years.
• Website visit logs — for the periods set by Law No. 5651.
• Once the period expires, data is erased, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the Regulation on the Erasure, Destruction or Anonymisation of Personal Data — we review this at least every 6 months.

08How we protect data

We take technical and organisational measures in accordance with Art. 12 KVKK: only employees handling your transaction have access to your data; the connection to the website is encrypted; accounts are password-protected and backups are kept; employees and contractors sign a confidentiality undertaking. Should data nevertheless be obtained by unauthorised parties, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Board within 72 hours and inform you as soon as possible.

09Your rights

Under Art. 11 KVKK, you have the right to:

• find out whether we process your data and obtain information about the processing;
• find out the purpose of processing and whether we use the data accordingly;
• know to whom your data has been transferred in Turkey and abroad;
• request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
• request the erasure or destruction of data once the grounds for processing no longer apply (Art. 7);
• request that the correction or erasure be notified to those to whom the data was transferred;
• object to an outcome unfavourable to you that results solely from automated analysis;
• claim compensation for damage if your data has been processed unlawfully.

10How to submit a request

Contact us in writing at our office, via registered electronic mail (KEP), with an electronic or mobile signature, or from an e-mail address you have previously provided to us — at one.home.ak@gmail.com. Please state your first and last name, nationality and passport number (for Turkish citizens — T.C. kimlik number), address, contact details for our reply and the substance of your request. We respond free of charge within 30 days; if the response involves costs, a fee is charged according to the Board’s tariff. If you are not satisfied with our response or receive none, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board (kvkk.gov.tr) — within 30 days of the response and no later than 60 days after your request.

11Cookies

• Essential — required for the website and forms to work, always on.
• Analytics — show which pages are useful so we can improve the website.
• Advertising — help us show our ads on other websites.
• Analytics and advertising cookies are enabled only after you consent in the banner. Declining is as easy as accepting, and you can change your choice at any time.

12Other provisions

The website and services are intended for persons over 18. We may update this policy — the current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
